What is in a name

White Falcon Pottery is named after me, Akos, the owner I hail from Hungary, where in ancient times the name meant White Falcon.

I have been a potter for over 10 years. I am heavily influenced by Oriental aesthetics, especially Japanese pottery. Each year I try to visit Japan and practice pottery for a while at some of the traditional pottery areas.

I try to combine organic forms with modern aesthetics in my work.
